American biology graduates- volunteer opportunities in Canada!
Georgian Bay Turtle Hospital at Scales Nature Park is looking for volunteers! Our nature center is home to the most complete live collection of Canadian herpetofauna in the country, for use in our educational programs and research efforts. We focus on the conservation of Canadian reptiles and amphibians and the habitats that sustain them. Local and international volunteers are heavily involved in our efforts. Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects and tasks related to: field research and conservation projects, animal care, public education (on-site and outreach), and facility development.
Accommodations and meals are provided for volunteers. We can assist with arranging work permits, visas, etc. Contact us for more information!
