Turtle nesting season is underway in central Ontario! Our Muskoka Turtle project has extended into the Lake Simcoe watershed this year and we look forward to increasing the range of our conservation efforts. This is an exciting season, however, it puts adult female turtles in a vulnerable position as they will be spending more time on land and may have to cross roads and highways in order to find suitable nesting sites.How can you help? Summer hours are over and we're back to being open 11-4 on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of October. Group bookings and outreach programs still happen at any time, just let us know the needs of your group! We're now open for summer hours, 10-5 daily except closed Tuesdays. Reptile Camp starts this week, and there's still openings in most weeks! It's going to be at great summer!
