Guests often ask us “how did you come up with name Valley Croft?” The answer is simple, we are located in Horseshoe Valley, and Croft is an old Scottish word that describes an enclosed area of land with a crofter’s house on site. The crofter worked and used the land. We have preserved the site and put the land and barn back to use, hence the name Valley Croft.

Tucked away in the stunning beauty of Horseshoe Valley is Valley Croft, your private retreat awaits.

Valley Croft offers nine acres of secluded property, the focal point of the venue is the traditional bank barn built in 1893. Now restored, but with loving attention paid to maintain the authentic feel of the barn – original beams and barn board are still in place.

The gardens and ornamental fish pond provide guests with a charming outdoor space to socialize, play games or simply “catch up”.

At Valley Croft, we offer couples the opportunity to create the wedding of their dreams. Nestled among nine private acres, couples and their guests have exclusive use of the venue gardens, woodland and The Barn for their wedding. There are no restrictive timelines or sharing space with other guests. You will always be the only Couple at Valley Croft!

Featuring our 1893 Barn, charming, natural garden and lawn areas, an ornamental fishpond, trails into our pine and hardwood forest and a large fire pit area. The photo locations and opportunities at Valley Croft are truly endless.

Couples are invited to celebrate their entire day with us, from a ceremony to dancing, and everything in between.  There is ample space, both indoors and out, for Couples to enjoy a truly memorable day, tailored to meet their own design vision and timeline!

As Valley Croft is only offered to one Couple at a time, Couples have true exclusivity for their wedding day.   Scheduling of itineraries and timelines are completely flexible.  Valley Croft is a uniquely adaptable space and is suitable for weddings featuring the most rustic country feel to an ultra-elegant garden party.  Couples are able to be as “DIY” as much or as little as they like!

In addition, at Valley Croft, we do not restrict our guests to specific vendors, such as caterers.  While we do have vendors we recommend, Guests can make their own final selections, to suit their taste and vision.

Team Building

Horseshoe Cottage

Unlike many Bed & Breakfasts, the Cottage is a separate home, ensuring guests the type of privacy they would find in a hotel, with all the hospitality and conveniences of a traditional B&B.

The Cottage features 3 bedrooms, each with an en suite and a fireplace.

The Cottage offers all the conveniences of home, a full kitchen for guest use, a lounge area, satellite TV and wifi.

A covered porch, BB and outdoor fireplace round out this wonderfully warm accommodation.
